| Clarence is a fixit man,
a jack of all trades who keeps the primitive machinery
of the Empire State Building running. He's as close
as it gets to middle class in the world of Zero Killer.
Although the skills of people like Clarence are absolutely
critical to maintaining the primitive mechanical infrastructure
of the towers, they are looked down on by gangsters.
Clarence is very easy-going. Definitely not a fighter,
and definitely not a gangster. He's carved a safe, relatively
comfortable life for himself in the Empire State Building.
Clarence is also a practitioner of the faith known as
La Via.
